These include in particular the new Professionals group of products. The development of these new products was also a response to the feedback and wishes of many processing companies which prompted optimisation of the blockboards.

The results are products similar to solid wood with all the associated advantages: lightweight, high resilience, low emission and high value! New cores are in particular the STAE Deluxe, a laminboard with only upright growth rings and an approx. 3 mm thick crossband made of fine rotary cur veneer (weight approx. 480 kg/m³).

The STAB Stabil is also new: a blockboard based on STAB with rotary cur veneer and HDF crossband (weight approx. 520 kg/m³). The new boards are supplied in 3,050/2,800 x 1,300mm format and in several thicknesses.

A selection of more than 200 decors and several structures (HPL/CPL or melamine) can be applied to the cores individually. These sandwich elements impress with individual appearance and solid cores with a number of benefits compared to chipboard or MDF sandwich elements.

The STAB Robust is also being launched: a board ideally suited for individual packaging construction or subconstructions. This material really lives up to its name because the thick rotary cut veneer face (approx. 3.5mm) lends the board enormous strength.
